Nesting Contently

Toggle state for Nested Content items

Nesting Contently adds a toggle button to Nested Content and Block List items to set the disabled state. Nesting Contently cleanly resolves the absence of a core disable/enable option, leveraging Umbraco internals for a smooth editor experience.

Get started

  • After installing, create a new data type using the Nesting Contently editor
  • Add the new data type to an element type used in a Nested Content or Block List editor
  • Ensure the property alias is `umbracoNaviHide` - that way you'll be able to use the `.IsVisible()` extension when rendering items
  • Update your views to exclude disabled items
  • Celebrate!
